Meet the Founder
Gloria Lucas is a Mexican-American activist, public speaker, and the founder of Nalgona Positivity Pride, a community-based organization that provides support and resources for people of color living with eating disorders. Lucas's work is centered on challenging Eurocentric beauty & health standards and promoting eating disorder harm reduction. She has extensively covered the intersections of body image, race, and gender and is a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including NPR, Allure, Huffington Post, and Time Magazine.
